My youngest son and I did a road trip over the last three days. We started by driving my daughter back to school in Southern California, and then we took the long way back home, visiting the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve, Death Valley, and the eastern Sierra. Along the way we experienced just about every type of spring weather that California has to offer, including rain, wind, snow, dust storms, and even some sunshine.
