- Just time for a short hike at Almaden Quicksilver. After exploring up the creek near the parking lot I went up Deep Gulch and enjoyed spectacular fall leaves. Turned around at the junction of Mine Hill and Castillero (at the old Reduction Works site) and returned by the same route.
